Hey, I’m MaShelle – your Fit & Fabulous Coach!  I’m an AFAA Certified Group Fitness Instructor and Fitness Coach. I have a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from Georgia State University and an MBA from the J. Mack Robinson College of Business.

One of my most notable accomplishments is being featured in the Chalean Extreme home fitness program infomercial! How awesome is that?! 🙂

As an Air Force Vet, I’ve always worked out off and on. But it wasn’t until 2009 when I got fed up with being overweight and got serious about making fitness a priority did I see lasting changes in how my body looked and felt. In 5 months, I lost 32 lbs, built lean muscle, and dropped 4 dress sizes! (read my transformation story.)

My Approach

Each of us is different in terms of fitness level, goals, and lifestyle. No one fitness program or meal plan will work for everyone. I start each client with a fitness assessment and an initial consultation (via phone or Skype) to determine your What, Why & How:

  • Your WHAT. What are your fitness goals? Are they specific? Are they realistic? I work with you to create S.M.A.R.T Goals (specific, measurable, attainable, realistic, time-based).
  • Your WHY. Why are your goals important to you? What’s your underlying motivation? Your WHY has to be big enough to motivate you to stay on track.
  • Your HOW. How will you make it happen? What are you willing to do (and give up) to reach your goals?

3-Pronged Success Plan

I’ll design a 3-pronged plan based on the 3 most important components for success – fitness, nutrition, and accountability:

  • FITNESS. A fitness program customized around your goals and lifestyle. All fitness programs are delivered in HD quality video.
  • NUTRITION. A realistic meal plan based on your daily metabolic requirements, dietary restrictions, and lifestyle.
  • ACCOUNTABILITY. Tough love to hold you accountable to your goals. This includes access to my private Fit & Fab Crew accountability group for healthy recipes, discussion & support from the Crew, workout inspiration, Q&A and more.
  • Weekly coaching calls (30 minutes) for progress updates and Q&A.

My coaching approach is based on 10 years experience changing women’s lives through fitness, and the 3 Keys to Success I discovered during my own personal fitness transformation in 2009.

My fitness transformation didn’t just change my body, it literally changed my life. It felt so empowering to know I had the discipline (and the right) to change the things in my life I wasn’t happy with. 

I started the Jiggle Free Zone to help women of every background and every age experience that same feeling of empowerment.
