Some of my FAVORITE pieces have been hanging in my closet for YEARS. 😂
Good style isn’t about constantly buying new clothes.
Sometimes you just need to see the old ones differently.
Style it. Own it. SLAY it. 💋

Slay Squad, seriously, let’s talk about menopause. What triggers your hot flashes?—and what helps you manage them when one hits? 🔥🥵
Sugar triggers mine, so I avoid it as much as possible. Every woman’s triggers can be different, but paying attention to what I eat/drink before a hot flash helped me recognize the pattern.
Here are a few practical things that help:
🔥 Track your triggers. Sugar is mine, but common triggers can also include caffeine, alcohol, spicy foods, hot drinks and stress.
🔥 Dress in lightweight layers. You can remove one quickly when your internal thermostat starts showing out! 🤭
🔥 Keep a cooling kit nearby. My turbo fan stays charged and ready! A cold drink and cooling towel can also bring some relief.
🔥 Keep the bedroom cool. A fan, breathable sleepwear and cooling sheets can make night sweats easier to manage.
🔥 Slow down and breathe. Stress can make a hot flash feel more intense, so a few slow, deep breaths may help your body settle.
🔥 Talk with your doctor. If hot flashes are disrupting your sleep or daily life, ask about treatment options. We don’t have to suffer in silence!
What’s your best strategy for managing hot flashes? Let’s help each other in the comments because these personal summers are NO joke! (and my A/C bill is getting ridiculous! ) 😫🔥
