Estee Lauder Double Wear Foundation

Makeup.  So many options.  But which one lives up to the hype?   We spend a small fortune trying to figure out which products live up to the advertised claims. Don’t get me started on all the money I’ve spent trying to find a mascara that will truly give me mile long lashes. Haven’t found one yet.  But, I digress. That’s another blog post.

I have super oily skin and by lunch time, my t-zone would literally look like an oil slick.  I searched high and low for a long lasting oil control, mattifying foundation that truly lasts all day.

During a make up trial for my wedding in 2015, my make up artist introduced me to Estee Lauder’s Double Wear foundation.  It quickly became my holy grail and I’ve been using it ever since.  It cost more than drug store brands, but its worth the investment.   With a buildable coverage, this foundation truly lasts ALL day.  No need for mid day touch ups and it doesn’t come off until I wash my face at night.  I love that it dries to a nice matte finish, is transfer resistant, and helps keep oil breakthroughs at bay for a long lasting, flawless finish.

I give this foundation 5 Stars for quality and living up to it’s claim “double wear stay-in-place makeup”.  I don’t get paid to review products (yet!), so this is my honest review of a product I’ve tried and love and wanted to share with my crew!
