Ready to Get RIPPED?

Can you say triple threat?!?  Certified Turbo Kick Instructor.  Certified Hip Hop Hustle Instructor.   And NOW a certified R.I.P.P.E.D. instructor!  Turbo Kick has always been my soul mate workout.  I LOVE to dance, so Hip Hop Hustle was a no brainer.  But R.I.P.P.E.D. adds my 3rd love – strength training.

RIPPED

R.I.P.P.E.D. is an acronym for: R – Resistance.  I – Intervals. P – Power.  P – Plyometrics.  E-

Endurance.  D – Diet.  It basically combines light weights/high reps, strength exercises using  your own body weight with cardio intervals and agility training.  Heavy weight lifting is great for building muscle, but using a lighter weight with lots of repetitions is what gives you the lean, defined look.  So it’s a great compliment to my personal strength training workouts and the cardio formats I teach.  I can already see my body responding just from practicing the choreography.

I’m not sure if or when I will add a regular RIPPED class to my teaching schedule since I already teach 3 classes a week and work full time, but I’m definitely looking forward to using it to sub strength training classes at the gym.  I’m actually subbing a few classes in September, so I’m super excited about that!
